Ẹbọ (Ritual Offering)
Rituals prescribed to restore harmony and open roads.
Service Description
Ẹbọ is the heart of Yorùbá ritual practice. It is the sacred act of making offerings to the Orisa, Egúngún, or natural forces to restore balance, remove obstacles, or open pathways. Each ẹbọ is prescribed through divination, meaning it is uniquely tailored to the individual’s needs. During the ceremony, offerings may include food, natural items, symbolic acts, or ritual materials. These are presented with prayer and intention, asking for alignment, healing, or protection. The specific nature of the ẹbọ depends on the guidance of the oracle and the situation at hand. By making ẹbọ, individuals reconnect with the cycle of giving and receiving, offering gratitude and sacrifice in exchange for blessings. It is a powerful way to ensure balance and well-being.
