About the event
About This Gathering
Before the Ground Opens is a seasonal teaching offered by Ilé Ọ̀rò at a moment of pause, correction, and internal realignment.
In Yorùbá tradition, not every season calls for movement. Some periods require restraint—time to correct one’s posture, listen to Orí, and address what must be settled before the earth can be approached. This gathering centers that principle.
This session is a teaching and guided reflection focused on correction, Orí, and the discipline of waiting. It is not a ritual, ceremony, divination, or initiation. No spiritual work will be performed on participants. Instead, the emphasis is on understanding timing, responsibility, and ethical preparation before beginning new endeavors—spiritual or otherwise.
This teaching marks a quiet threshold: a moment to become correct before seeking progress.
Attendance is intentionally limited to preserve focus and integrity.
