In Yorùbá philosophy, Àyànmọ̀—destiny—is the divine path chosen by one’s Orí before birth, witnessed by Orúnmìlà and sanctioned by Olódùmarè. It guides each person through life’s lessons and blessings. Though fate is chosen, character (ìwà pẹ̀lẹ́) and effort shape its unfolding.
