In Yorùbá spirituality, Orí is not destiny but the divine inner head that carries us into our ayànmọ̀ (destiny). When Orí is honored and kept cool, life flows with ìre (blessings); when neglected, we fall into osogbo (obstacles). By trusting Orí inú (inner head/intuition), caring for body and spirit, and setting boundaries that protect our àṣẹ, we align with harmony. Orí is our closest divinity and must be nurtured daily.

In Yorùbá spirituality, harmony with the ancestors (Ègún) and the Orìṣà is more than ritual—it is a way of life rooted in reverence, gratitude, and reciprocity. Ancestors remain active as guardians, while the Orìṣà embody nature’s forces and virtues. Through prayer, offerings, divination, and good character (ìwà pẹ̀lẹ́), we honor their presence and invite blessings, guidance, and protection, walking in alignment with destiny.
