The Lukumí tradition is a spiritual belief system that focuses on the worship of a Supreme Being that can be conceived through many different facets. The concept of God is vast in Yorubaland, but ultimately every act of worship is dedicated to Olorun (owner of heaven), to Olodumare or Eledumare (owner of the repository of possibility), and to Olofin (one who has the ultimate rule). Olorun is the incomprehensible source of creation that guides evolution. Olodumare is the constellation of all possibilities and events. And Olofin is the continuous creator of the universe and is the highest understanding of what the Yoruba could conceive for humankind's own personal God.
